A Flower Lens Hood for Nikon Coolpix P950 is compatible with DSLR cameras and allows you to increase the quality of photos by sheltering surplus light from entering the camera lens where it will probably result in internal reflections, and also minimizes the volume of lens flare when photos are taken in bright light or whenever there is strong sunlight.It will not simply keep sunlight out - yet a number of other sources of light you may well be in close proximity to.
Whenever using a lens hood, check the LCD (camera) to make certain the hood will not show up in the photo, creating vignetting. In cases like this, get rid of or adapt the lens hood. Using such a wide angle, this undesired effect is eradicated by way of using a bit of zoom.
