Samyang 300mm f/6.3 ED UMC CS Lens Sony E Black
Description
Details
The Samyang 300mm f/6.3 ED UMC CS Lens Sony E Black is a small-size DSLR lens developed for compact cameras. The optical structure incorporates 9 elements arranged in 9 groups, which include one ED-type lens to give high contrast and lessen chromatic aberration.
Depending on the distance of the subject from the camera and the aperture setting which you’re using, telephotos are often very successful at separating the subject from the background or foreground and have a proficiency to obtain distant subjects closer or isolating the subject from its foreground and background, telephoto lenses compress the noticeable distances between objects inside the frame of the image.

Product features:
- 35mm Equivalent focal length: 450mm.
- Fixed f/6.3 aperture.

Using a long focal length together with an affordable price and a small size (it weighs only 315 g), this lens is a great partner for urban and wildlife photography. Focus is the only control on this lens, and the rubber ribbing is broader and easy to grip on to. It is not necessarily heavy, and rather small bearing in mind the focal length the lens has.
This Samyang mirror lens is made specifically for use on Sony E cameras. The lens design permits it to obtain a 450mm 35mm-equivalent focal length perspective in just a sleek and stylish and lightweight lens design that is substantially smaller than a conventional 300mm lens. It incorporates a fixed f/6.3 aperture and it has a minimum focus distance of 0.9m

One extra-low dispersion element and the built in mirror structure of the lens works to remove chromatic aberrations delivering distinctive image sharpness and picture quality. Additionally, a UMC (Ultra Multi Coated) coating has been used to scale back surface reflections, lens flare and ghosting whilst also improving contrast.
The Catadioptric system with Cassegrain design enables you to reduce the overall size of the lens while also delivering a 35mm-equivalent focal length of 450mm. An f/6.3 is an excellent aperture for wildlife shooting in brightness, and is the right travel companion supplying a great deal of reach.
This Samyang 300mm f/6.3 Lens is a manual lens with very smooth manual focusing. As a result of incredibly narrow depth of field with this sort of long focal length it is suggested to focus using live-view to obtain accurate focus wherever possible. Just as with all long telephoto lenses a combination of stable camera support or a tripod, decent technique, a fast shutter speed, and use of remote / mirror lock up is strongly recommended to stop camera shake and to get the best results.
