Samyang 24mm T1.5 ED AS IF UMC VDSLR Lens Nikon
Description
Details
The Samyang 24mm T1.5 ED AS IF UMC VDSLR Lens Nikon is a wide angle lens using a wider angle of view than a usual regular lens and is an incredibly bright, prime lens which is designed to work with digital cameras fitted with full-frame or APS-C sensors. Samyang VDSLR lenses come complete with racks suitable for use with the Follow Focus system.
This wide angle lens enables you to get considerably more within the frame, or get even closer to the subject without the need to wipe off the confines of the photograph.
Wide angle lenses are suitable for photography of substantial landscapes, cramped interiors, and subjects which will not fit into the field of view of a regular lens, like a sizeable building shot at quite a close range.
Product features:
- The Samyang 24mm lens is light, compact and lightweight exclusively intended for recording.
- Suitable for Nikon APS-C and Full-Frame.
- The lens is the ideal lens for video and landscapes, architecture, interior, sports and panoramic photography.
- Bright lens with a maximum aperture of T/1.5, ideal when working in low light.
- A number of layers of anti-reflective coating UMC guarantee optimal light transmission and contrast to improve the quality of the photographs.
The optics of the Samyang 24mm T1.5 ED AS IF UMC VDSLR Lens Nikon consists of 13 lens elements in 12 groups, 4 lens elements are made from the low dispersion (ED) glass, this lowers the level of chromatic aberration, additionally, there are two aspherical elements to help stop the spherical aberration effect. Similar to other Samyang products, this unique lens uses multi-layered anti-reflective UMC coatings to assure superior light transmission.
The focusing distance and aperture adjustments are plainly marked on the side of the lens barrel to permit fast and simple reference whenever mounted on to a tripod.
When using a Samyang wide angle lens, at times you will sometimes be located quite close to the subject, this causes foreground objects to seem quite large in the frame, and more distant objects appear exceptionally small. Wide angle lenses furthermore exaggerate the distance between objects, making subjects at moderate and far distances appear to be further away than they actually are.

Samyang wide angle lenses have an increased depth of field, simply because they cover a wider viewing angle, this makes them just the thing for shooting scenes where you have subjects at numerous distances, for instance a landscape with wildlife in the foreground and mountains in the background, and you need all the subjects in the image to be sharp.
