A Hoya 72mm HMC UV Filter is manufactured with heat-resistant tempered glass, this high-quality glass provides a clear smooth image, and due to the slim frame you can keep the filter constantly attached to the lens. A Hoya filter is universal and will screw directly onto the lens providing you with superior clarity and colour balance, a UV filter restricts a certain amount of visible UV rays from reaching the lens.
