Hoya 62mm HMC (PHL) UV Filter

A Hoya 62mm HMC (PHL) UV Filter is manufactured from highly tolerant optical glass, the filter features a HMC multi-coating to help to greatly reduce any reflections and haze. A multi-coated surface prevents flare and improves image quality.

A UV filter helps to remove unwanted ultraviolet rays in bright lighting conditions, sometimes these rays can produce a blue tint and lessen the contrast and sharpness in the images. This filter can be left placed on the lens and will offer a further level of security to the lens against rain, pebbles, dust and anything else that could dirty or damage the lens.
