Hoya 55mm Pro1 Digital UV Filter

A Hoya 55mm Pro1 Digital UV Filter provides the photographer a number of different uses, using the filter will allow you to reduce the total amount of light that enters the lens, this lowers reflections, ghosting and lens flare that can occur in brighter outdoor situations.

This filter acts as a lens protector so can be left on all the time and provides greater contrast and an overall clearer image which removes a lot of the blue tint in an image.

Supplied with a super-thin aluminium black frame it avoids vignetting on super wide angle lenses. This is not a bare glass filter, it has beeen treated with a Digital Multi-Coating on each side that adds even more protection.
