Hoya 52mm Pro ND400 Filter
Description
Details
The Hoya 52mm Pro ND400 Filter cuts down light values by 9 stops to under 1/500th of it's initial power and will allow for improved results if recording in vibrant situations.
It is also designed to reach extremely slow shutter speeds in daylight to make moving subjects look hidden, and permits the use of slower shutter speeds, notably with high speed films, to document activity (or the blur effect) in subjects such as waterfalls, clouds, moving motor vehicles, for example.
Furthermore it will reduce depth of field by making it possible for wider apertures to be applied, which in turn assists to distinguish subjects from their background. Neutral density filters possess no influence on colour balance, look grey in colour and greatly reduce the appearance of light that penetrates into the lens.
Product features:
- Reduces the appearance of light getting into your camera lens.
- Allows wider apertures and slower shutter speeds to be applied.
- ACCU-ND coating for genuinely neutral colour balance.
- Allows you to decrease the depth of field for portraits.
- Low-profile aluminium ring eliminates vignetting.
