A Hoya 49mm HMC NDX4 Filter is a neutral density filter that reduces the depth of field by enabling wider apertures to be applied, this assists to separate a subject from their background. It lowers the effective ISO of high speed film as well as enables it to be implemented outdoors in bright light circumstances.
